about movies
Almost all of the files on
Q.B.M. Movies are encoded with AVI with divX;-)
codec.
This format should play perfectly with Windows
Media Player Download
newest player directly from microsoft
(link opens in new
window).
What to do : The
AVI movies are encoded with special codec called
DivX:-) (yes...smile is a part of name). Standard
Windows does not suport this codec, because its
hacked and improved version of Microsoft product
!
Please read it
very carefully :
You need to download DivX:-) codec separately !
You can download best - 3.11 or later - version
of DivX:-) codec from this
place.
Installation process will not take you more than
30 seconds . At Divx Digest you`ll find really
great information about DivX;-) and all other
codecs so if you want to know how to convert DVD
to CD (of course with DivX;-) codec) - it`s great
place to visit.
Just in case if you can't get to play the movies
even after you have downloaded and installed
DivX;-) codec, I recommend downloading and
installing 3ivx MPEG-4 and Angelpotion MPEG-4
codecs too. You can find them on DivXDigest under the
"Alternative Software" heading.

You can also use Virtual
Dub (my
favorite) to join the files.
